Well that’s the thing, that feature does exist. If you're not doing any of those and simply complaining and threatening to quit if its not fixed, then you're not really being fair or realistic. I'd say you could best help by submitting crash reports or logs, or even entering support tickets with details on your device and the circumstances of the crash. Overall, I'm sure they're trying to improve stability which will also cause less energy or key losses, its not something they're doing on purpose. Even final fantasy record keeper wasn't perfect when you were in an area with spotty internet. There are actually quite a few different scenarios where the outcome isn't ideal and you lose energy regardless of which method they use. Even this isn't perfect though because if the game crashes/encounters a connection issue while reconnecting after a mission and verifying completion, you potentially lose energy. If the game stores progress in a mission locally on your device, its open to hacks like one hit kills, or invincibility, but this method allows easier saving of progress in the event of a crash because everything is local. This problem exists in many games, and you're right there are some solutions, however none have it perfect because it generally depends on the exact type of crash or when the crash occurs. You probably don't mean to sound a little entitled but thats kind of how that sentence reads. I really enjoy this game but I will stop playing at some point if this continues to be a thing. When 1.8 arrives please have this issue fixed.
